De Moya Justina 2020
GRAPES: bobal (87%), syrah (10%), cabernet sauvignon (3%)
VINIFICATION: The fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and lasts 21 to 30 days.
This is followed by a maturation of 4 months in oak barrels.
ALCOHOL PERCENTAGE: 14.00%
FRAGRANCE & TASTE: Cherry red wine with aromas of ripe red fruit including cherry and strawberry, toast, spices and a refined minerality. Medium bodied with a round taste and soft tannins.
SERVING SUGGESTION: The ripe red fruit comes into its own when slightly chilled with poultry, rich pasta and pizza from the wood oven. The spiciness of the bobal can be perfectly combined with tapas and meat from the BBQ.
FACT: Bobal is mainly found in the Utiel-Requena wine region around Valencia, but is nevertheless the second most planted blue grape variety in Spain.
