Vineyard and region:
From the south-facing vineyard 'Zeisen'. Next to the vineyard is a forest, which causes large differences in day and night temperatures. The bottom consists of sand and loess. The sticks are 42 years old.
The grapes are destemmed and crushed. They undergo a 2-hour peel soak before pressing. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 19 degrees in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured for another four months in stainless steel.
Color: Lemon yellow.
Smell: Citrus and herbs.
Taste: A fresh, fruity wine with crispy apple and citrus, and the recognizable pinch of pepper in the aftertaste.
Serve with: Delicious with brunch, for example with sandwiches with salmon and chive cream cheese. Also delicious with a salad with green or white asparagus.
