Roberto Anselmi San Vincenzo IGT 2021

Roberto Anselmi is the founder and winemaker of the eponymous wine company Azienda Agricola Anselmi . Roberto is an inspired man who does not follow the traditional rules for making wine prescribed in Italy. For example, he has planted five to seven thousand vines per hectare. This is many times more than required by the legislation ( for Soave doc). Higher density results in a lower yield per plant with thus more concentrated and flavourful juice, something you like to strive for as a winemaker!
Wine list
Intense scent of melon, peach and apricot with an accompanying hint of spice. On the palate it is full and lively with a nice bitterness on the finish and flavours of peach and melon.

Whereas generally only Garganega grapes are used, Roberto Anselmi puts nice ripe Chardonnay grapes in the wine, creating a slightly fuller and more complex wine.
